Jacqui Smith says her ‘t*ts’ are the reason she was voted off Strictly

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Jacqui Smith has claimed the reason she got voted off the show was her "t**s".

After being voted off in the first week, she joked: "My t**s weren't sufficiently out."

The former Labour politician, 58, said: "Part of the entertainment is Craig being a pantomime baddie so I get that – I thought he slightly overdid it with me.

"Other people close to me are quite cross about it."

Jacqui became the first person to be voted off the dancing show last weekend.

Following her early departure, Jacqui took to Instagram to apologise for only having a brief turn on the show.

Taking to Twitter, she said: "Thank you @bbcstrictly for giving me the adventure of a lifetime."

Her post continued: "I’m sorry I couldn’t have continued it with the amazing @TheAntonDuBeke but happy for all those amazing and lovely dancers.

"Good luck to them all. Your country needs you and Strictly #noregrets #goforit."

Jacqui's dance partner Anton shared the post with his own social media followers.

In his Twitter share, he gushed over Jacqui's dance transformation.

He remarked: "Ah @Jacqui_Smith1, didn’t we have a ball!

"Over so soon, my love, but what a transformation from the launch show in just a few short weeks – such a tremendous achievement!"

Anton rounded off his sweet post by urging Jacqui to keep dancing.

He remarked: "Thank you for being a truly marvellous partner – promise me you’ll keep dancing! Anton XX."
