Jamie Laing says he'll put Page 3 cut-out of girlfriend Sophie Habboo on his wall

DATING one of The Sun’s Page 3 models is just a dream for a lot of men – but for Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing it is a reality.

He was starstruck after finding out girlfriend Sophie Habboo had appeared in our iconic slot.

Now he says he’s going to put a clipping of her on his wall — replacing a poster of Spice Girls, Geri Halliwell.

I’ve done him the courtesy of digging one out he can use, too.

In an exclusive chat, Jamie said: “I used to have Ginger Spice on my wall as a kid and now I can have Sophie Habboo.

“Instead of imagining it, I can sort of see the real person in front of me. I’m going to get starstruck going in the next room and seeing her.”

The pair have been dating since 2019 and their ups and downs have been there for all to see on E4 show Made In Chelsea.

But no test would have been bigger than Jamie’s turn on BBC show Strictly — renowned for its relationship ‘curse’.

He survived unscathed and even reached last year’s final with partner Karen Hauer. Jamie said: “With the Strictly curse, everyone would have their interviews and people would say, ‘Are you guys hooking up?’

“When Karen and I went in they wouldn’t even ask the question, and I’d be annoyed they weren’t asking it. ‘Why wouldn’t we hook up? Look at her’.

“Sophie was like, ‘If you’re going to hook with someone I’m probably gonna go bye’. You get to the position where you really don’t want to upset your best friend.”

Now, after ten years on Made In Chelsea, Jamie has decided to call it a day — after comparing his long reality TV career to Kim Kardashian's.

He said: “I think I hold the record in the UK — the longest running reality star. I have a business. I have a podcast. I’ve got a good booty. So yeah, I’m the UK’s version of Kim Kardashian.”

During his time on the show Jamie also battled with mental health issues, including anxiety and panic attacks.

He is now speaking out about his experiences and how to deal with them on Boots UK’s new wellness podcast series, Taboo Talk.

I think I hold the record in the UK — the longest running reality star.

Jamie said: “I’d just started MIC, so there were a lot of new things that you’re probably stressing about that you don’t really understand.

“You have the typical one [panic attack], you feel like you’re dying, you can’t breathe properly.

“Once that happens then you panic about having that same experience, where you panic about panicking. You have anxiety about having anxiety. It was pretty horrendous.”

Jamie has learned techniques to deal with anxiety and recommends lots of exercise.

He even suffered from it on Strictly. Jamie says: “I would be such a wreck. But in the dance off, I was like, ‘Who cares I’m in the dance off? It doesn’t matter any more’.”

Jamie is a really confident lad, despite this admission, regularly seen on social media taking his kit off and even wearing women’s outfits.

He said: “I did a reality show for ten years – that takes guts, wearing a women’s shirt. Who cares? I’ll do that.”

He went on to praise cross-dressing Harry Styles for being a role model and encouraging a non-binary society.

Jamie said: “I’m also for anyone who challenges the norms — that’s a really cool thing to do. If you want to go out and wear women’s shirts or do these things and people say, ‘Oh why are you doing that?’ Go and do it, because who cares?

“Look at Harry Styles. I think it’s great.”

Well said, Jamie, but I don’t think I could get away with Harry’s look.

Helen film delay

CINEMA has taken a hit due to the pandemic and one of the worst-affected productions appears to be The Duke, Helen Mirren’s new film.

The eagerly anticipated flick, also starring Jim Broadbent, has suffered another setback with its release being put back yet again.

It was initially delayed until next month after Covid put a stop to its original 2020 release date, but now I’ve learned that it has been postponed at the last minute and won’t be out until next spring.

Earlier this week, bosses cancelled a press preview of the film, about the true story of the 1961 theft of Goya’s portrait of the Duke Of Wellington from the National Gallery in London by a taxi driver.

A movie source said: “The producers fear the older audience it will attract are too scared to turn up to cinemas. It’s obviously incredibly frustrating for bosses but just as we’ve seen with the James Bond movie, there’s not really much of a choice.

“It’s the difference between making money on the film or not.”

Helen recently told a US podcast how she hated filming under Covid rules, saying: “You can’t all meet people and have a chat with the sound guy. I am looking forward to the time when all this will be over.”

We need bums on seats in cinemas all around the country.

Just over the bar…

HIS fellow Canadians have just won an Olympic gold in football and clearly Justin Bieber was inspired by their success in Tokyo.

The Yummy singer was seen playing soccer, as he would call it, with pals in Los Angeles and wore the shirt of local team Churchome Football Club.

I still reckon his singing is better than his ball skills.

Chris: Twitter like locking up Lecter

HE’S one of the few people who’s not on social media – and that’s because Chris Martin admits he can’t be trusted on Twitter.

Rather worryingly, the Coldplay frontman compared himself to Anthony Hopkins’ famous movie character Hannibal Lecter.

Chris told Rob Brydon on his podcast: “It’s a bit like Hannibal Lecter and how many lines of defence there are for him to get out into the real world. That’s what I have with tweets.

“For me to tweet it has to go through a number of checks and balances to make sure it is relatively OK. I can’t just write something and tweet it.”

I didn’t realise he was so angry.

US rocker Brandon Flowers has revealed he loves a very English delicacy.

Speaking on Instagram Live, he was asked what his favourite UK snack was, to which The Killers frontman replied: “I would say Eton Mess.

“We had never had clotted cream until we went over to the UK. I like scones and raspberries and all that.”

He went on to tell of his hopes of a tour over here, saying: “The UK tour was the plan for 2019 and 2020 and 2021 and it is set for 2022 now, hopefully.

“We have missed playing live as it has become part of our identity.”

We’ve missed you too, Brandon.

KSI thrilled with Lil

KSI has collaborated with one of the biggest rappers in the world for his next single, Lose.

KSI said: “I can’t believe I’m actually writing this. I have a song with Lil Wayne.

“If you told me ten years ago that this was gonna happen, I would have laughed in your face and blocked you from my contacts. But it’s a reality. Me and Lil Wayne have come together to make a track no one will expect.

“From the singing chorus to the amazing verses, this is a song that will live on for decades.”

Watford-born KSI’s also had a No1 album with All Over The Place. What a year he’s having.

Bums cause panic Atack

FEAR of spiders, scared of heights, afraid to fly – they’re all common phobias, but Emily Atack has a new one.

The Inbetweeners star says she gets freaked out by men’s rear ends.

She told the Off Menu podcast: “I’m always scared of men’s bums.

“You know when you’re lying in bed and they walk off to the bathroom to have a wee? I always get really scared to look because I’m scared. I’m like, ‘I really want to see what his bum looks like but I’m really scared’.

“I’m just scared. What’s it going to look like? Is it going to be hairy? Is it going to not be hairy? Is it going to have something weird on it? Or is it going to put me off them?”
