Love Island 2019: Molly-Mae Hague breaks down after exposing truth of Tommy Fury romance
Molly-Mae, 20, and Tommy, 20, have been a united front since the former arrived in the Love Island villa as a latecomer at the beginning of the series.
The couple have gone from strength to strength and look set to take the crown when Caroline Flack, 39, announces the victorious couple on Monday.
As the final dates continue on tonight’s instalment of the ITV reality dating show, Molly-Mae and Tommy get a chance to escape the villa and enjoy an evening only seen in fairytales.
Sitting down in the grand ballroom, the pair start to discuss their relationship and the prospect of a future together, but things become too much for Molly-Mae.
Why am I getting upset?
Molly-Mae tells Tommy: “I genuinely did not think I would come in and meet someone. I hoped I would but I didn’t think for one minute that it would become what it has become.
“I just want to thank you…” Molly-Mae tries to continue but becomes overwhelmed with emotion and as she fights back the tears, she says: “Why am I getting upset?”
With her voice breaking as she wipes away the tears, Molly-Mae adds: “I just want thank you because you’ve made my time in here so special.”
Tommy gets up to console his girlfriend, telling her: ““From the moment I met you, I knew in my own heart that you were going to be the one for me.
“I knew it straight away. I genuinely love you. You’re the girl I’ve been looking for my entire life.”
After composing herself, Molly-Mae admits: “There is not one thing that I would change about you and the way that we are.”
Discussing their future, Molly-Mae asks: ““What do you think is next for us? I feel like we’ve done so much in there.
“The next thing would be moving in together. It’s even scary to say it!” the islander exclaims.
The young boxer reiterates Molly-Mae’s sentiments: “We’ve come through the stages and the next stage would be moving in together.”
“I couldn’t see any reason why living together wouldn’t work. Maybe that is on the cards,” Molly-Mae reflects.
Wanting to sweep his girlfriend off her feet, Tommy asks Molly-Mae for a dance but as their night draws to a close, the villa is rocked by a bombshell.
Following the double dumping earlier this week, another couple will repacking their bags by the end of tonight’s episodes.
However, the decision is down to the islanders themselves as to which couples to put at risk from being dumped.
Although Ovie Soko, 28, has gone down a storm with fans of the show, the other islanders may not see his coupling with India Reynolds, 28, being as strong as neither are original contestants from the start of the series.
Their odds tell a different story as Coral bookmakers have the couple sitting in second place at 7-4, just behind frontrunners Tommy and Molly-Mae at 8-13.
Anton Danyluk, 24, and Belle Hassan, 21, are at the bottom of the table at 20-1, so could they be making their exit?
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
