Love Island’s Maura ‘has no idea who the real Curtis is’ and is in for a shock says Olivia Attwood – The Sun

MAURA Higgins is in for a shock when she comes face-to-face with the real Curtis Pritchard, claims ex-Islander Olivia Attwood.

The former Love Island star says Curtis reminds her of her ex Chris Hughes and will be a different person when they leave the villa.

"Curtis reminds me of Chris," she exclusively told The Sun Online at The Sun's Love Island Final party.

"I feel like he will play the game to absolute perfection while he’s in there.

"But I think that Maura will see the real Curtis when she leaves, like how I saw the real Chris."

Olivia explained that a "certain kind" of person is good at playing the game and playing up to the cameras.

"[Certain boys] are just really good at knowing when they’re on camera or in company, somebody is good at showing the side of themselves that they want to be seen.

"The danger of Love Island, when you come away from the camera and you’re alone in the hotel room, in London, no cameras, and you first see the real them, you’re like wow, it’s kind of a shock."

But Olivia – who knows Maura through her modelling work – is sure the Irish hurricane will be strong enough to cope with the emotional rollercoaster that awaits her on the outside.

"As I know Maura, she’s the same as I was, she wont take it," she said.

"It’s really hurtful when you see someone’s true colours, it hurts."

Olivia also explained that the parents aren't allowed to reveal their true feelings about partners on the show after fans noticed that Maura's mum seemed uncertain about Curtis.

"My mum when I was in there when I said, 'How amazing is Chris?' I saw in her that she didn’t like him.

"Thing is, they’re not really allowed to say too much."
