Married At First Sight UK's Luke Dawson and Morag Crichton had an explosive argument during Monday's reunion as it was revealed their relationship hadn't worked out since the show.

Luke, 36, and Morag, 31, had decided to recommit to one another at the final vow renewal ceremony, which aired last week.

However, it was revealed on Monday's reunion that it had not been smooth sailing since the show ended as Morag claimed that Luke hadn't phoned her once.

Later during the episode, the two contestants sat down for a chat with the MAFS UK's experts where Luke fumed that Morag "played" him during the experiment and she branded him a "fake".

Starting the chat, Morag said: "I felt like we ended on a high, I genuinely felt like we were in the best place we could have been in at the time.

"Obviously, there were highs and lows, the position we were in, I felt like I owed it to us to give it a go. However, from the moment we left the experiment, Luke hasn't phoned me once…"

Giving his side of the story, Luke clarified that he was asked to give Morag "space" and although he didn't ring her, he did in fact message her.

He continued: "We spoke on one day and you basically turned around, and you categorically told me you had never seen us in a relationship.

"It was like, what? What have I been fighting for? What have I been fighting for? I said: 'What does the final commitment ceremony mean to you?' and she was like: 'It was a TV show.'"

Morag was quick to hit back with: "I never said that! I said it was an experiment, I said it wasn't a real marriage, and you weren't my boyfriend. So what was it?" as he insisted: "Yes you did, yes you did. What am I supposed to take from that?"

And things went from bad to worse when Luke then claimed that Morag "played" him during the experiment and she branded him a "fake".

He said: "I think I was played the whole time," with Morag replying: "Are you f**king serious? If you're going to make such a big statement, tell me the facts."

Luke continued: "I wasn't the guy you wanted, it was just a game for you the whole time" with Morag hitting back with: "I was honest with you from start to finish."

As he added: "It's a lie, an absolute lie!"

She then fumed: "I don't even know who you are right now, who are you right now?"

Luke also admitted that despite declaring his love for her on the show he "never felt it" despite "trying", with Morag branding him a "fake".

He insisted: "I had feelings for you and they were growing. At the time, I thought I did and that's the truth! Sorry guys, I know it's not what anyone wants to hear but it's how I feel."

Talking about what they have learnt from the experiment, Luke said: "I can't change, I am who I am, I feel these things, I am over it, I just feel used!"

While Morag added that she now wants a relationship with someone "right for her" after previously being guarded .

Luke added in a VT that he wishes Morag the best but he is "done", while she added: "That man on the sofa tonight was not the man I married."
