Maura Higgins announces major TV comeback as she takes on Maya Jama’s role
Love Island star Maura Higgins is set to make her television presenting debut as the host of Glow Up Ireland, an Irish version of the hit British makeup series.
The 30-year-old reality star will be making her big TV comeback on the upcoming makeup show – called Glow Up: Ireland's Next Make-Up Star – which will air on Irish channel RTÉ.
The beauty show will see amateur make-up artists compete to be crowned Ireland's next makeup star, and will take the original format of the popular British show fronted by television star Maya Jama.
Announcing her exciting career milestone on Twitter, Maura wrote: "Say hello to the presenter of Glow Up Ireland. Coming soon to @RTE2 #GlowUpIrl."
Alongside the tweet, she posted two stunning photoshoot snaps of her sporting a sensational dark, low-cut suit flashing her cleavage looking absolutely glam.
Speaking about her new presenting role on RTÉ, Maura said: "I’m so excited to be the presenter of the first ever Glow Up Ireland. Having watched the last few series of the show in the UK this is such an amazing opportunity and the fact that this is my first presenting job and it's in Ireland is so overwhelming.

After Love Island, she went on to lead her own spin-off show called Maura Higgins: You're Joking Me! and appeared on the 2019 series of Dancing On Ice, and she even landed a hosting role on This Morning alongside stars Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield.
She also bagged herself a role hosting the red carpet for the 2020 National Television Awards, and has appeared on shows including ITV2's Love Island: Aftersun and Celebrity Juice.
