Our Yorkshire Farmer's Amanda Owen shocks fans with glamorous transformation

OUR Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has left fans drooling with her glamorous transformation.

The 46-year-old ditched the getup she would normally wear to tend to her flock of sheep in the Yorkshire Dales for a lovely day out.

The shepherdess sent fans into a frenzy as she took to Twitter to show off her outfit she wore to The Great Yorkshire Show.

She donned a pretty blue and white flowery dress with a lovely straw summer hat.

Amanda completed the look with gorgeous long silver and glistening earrings while smiling for the camera.

Along with her fabulous selfie, Owen posted some snaps of her children eating some sweets she brought back from the event.

The mother-of-nine captioned the photo: "Divvying up some of the loot brought back from the @greatyorkshow Great to meet up with friends & make some new ones too. Sweet."

Fans flooded the comments with messages as one fan swooned: "Amanda you’re looking lovely as always."

Another gushed: "Looking very stunning Amanda", while a third added: "Fab photos you look amazing Amanda. Love the earrings."

While many fans love when Amanda dresses up, the writer was slammed earlier this month for wearing 'stilettos and a body-con dress'.

While Amanda is mostly seen out and about in comfy farming clothes, she has been known to glam up on occasion, showing off her enviable figure in the process.

But during a conversation with Simon Armitage on the next episode of The Poet Laureate Has Gone to His Shed, Amanda hit back at critics who say she is "no longer a shepherd" by doing so.

“Anybody who wishes to say: ‘Well you’re not a shepherd anymore because you’ve got a pair of stilettos on and a body-con dress’."

She concluded: "I will say: ‘Oh yes I am’, because it’s still all about the farm and all about the sheep at the end of the day.”
