Sarah gets a big shock at gender reveal party as her life falls apart in Corrie

Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) has her lies exposed in upcoming Coronation Street episodes as her relationship with Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) risks being destroyed forever.

After attending Sarah’s latest scan, Adam was left suspcious over Sarah’s reaction to the sonographer organising a genetic diseases test for her baby.

Prior to these scenes airing, Adam was under the impression that he’s definitely the father of Sarah’s baby and Damon (Ciaran Griffiths) isn’t. In reality, Adam had misunderstood Sarah during a conversation but she didn’t have the guts to confirm the paternity test results hadn’t actually come back.

Acting on his worries, Adam told Sarah after the hospital trip that he wants written confirmation from the clinic about who the father of her baby is.

Coming up, Sarah heads home to face the music where she finds Adam clutching the all-important letter. As he rips it open, she steals herself, but Adam breaks into a smile and shows her the results, proving that he’s the father.

Later, Adam tells Ken (William Roache) and Daniel (Rob Mallard) about his plans to throw a suprise gender reveal party for Sarah.

As a new week begins, with more missed calls from Damon showing up on her phone, Sarah feels on edge.

She’s also concerned by Adam’s cagey behaviour but Stephen (Todd Boyce) tells her not to worry, saying that her husband is just busy planning a gender reveal. As the Barlows and Platts gather in the bistro for the party, Sarah feigns surprise.

In front of her guests, Sarah opens the balloon box to reveal the gender of her baby and later in the week, it appears that’s the start of things going drastically wrong for the character as she is seen trying to talk to Adam to save her marriage.

As Adam rails at Sarah for all the lies, she’s suddenly hit with stomach pain.

Seeing Sarah getting into a taxi to take herself to hospital, Maria (Samia Longchambon) tells Adam and he’s left horrified, explaining to Maria that he thought she was faking the pain.

As Sarah waits for the news, will Adam be there to support her?

And have we reached the end of the line for their relationship?
