BBC bosses have confirmed the return date of Strictly Come Dancing – and the countdown is officially on.
The BBC Strictly Twitter account announced the start date of the 2021 show as September 18 as the 15 contestants will all learn to dance with the help of their partner.
Bosses took to Twitter today and shared a clip of Tom Fletcher pretending to play the guitar with a paddle with the number 15 on it as a nod to the fact it's only 15 days until it returns.
It is expected that Strictly will return for its full-length series in 2021, after the show needed to be cut short in 2020 due to Covid-19.
With 15 celebrities taking part, it's looking like the traditional 13 week-long show will resume, taking viewers right through to December and well and truly into the festive season.
Some celebrities will be dropped along the way, but a handful will make it through the live shows and into the running for the Glitterball Trophy.
Covid-19 rules will still be very much in place, with The Sun reporting that dancers will be staying at a London hotel and forming a bubble to avoid any spread of infection.
