Strictly star on how she plans to use judges’ feedback to win Glitterball trophy
Corrie’s Ellie Leach will be joining Strictly Come Dancing 2023
Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach has revealed how she will use the judges’ feedback to make it to the final of the BBC series.
On Saturday, the 15 celebrity contestants will make their Strictly debut with their professional dance partners.
Luckily for the star-studded line-up, they aren’t at risk of being eliminated this week, but after the launch show, they will need to bring their A-game.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk and other press, Ellie discussed her game plan and how she will use the judges’ feedback each week.
When asked whether she was worried about the judges’ criticism, the former soap star shared: “I think it pushes you so you think, ‘Next week I need to focus on this’.”

Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton du Beke will be back on the judging panel, but will Ellie do enough to impress them?
One thing the actress is looking forward to about Strictly is the glitz and glam makeovers every week.
She beamed: “I can’t wait to get glammed and wear all the sequins.”
The celebrity pairings will be unveiled during the launch show, and while Ellie is keeping tight-lipped about who she is partnered with, she said she is loving every minute of training.

She admitted rehearsals are: “Hard… but it is exciting, I am really excited but I want to kind of get in now and get started.
“It is so much fun. It is such a nice vibe.”
Ellie will also be joined by a familiar face when she makes her debut on Saturday.
Adam Thomas is also part of the line-up, and Ellie is thrilled to know someone else who is competing.
She said: “When I found out Adam was doing it I was really excited because I was like, ‘Finally I don’t feel like I am going to be on my own’ because obviously we know that we’re doing it but we don’t know who else is doing it.
“So when I found out I was so excited.”
Joining Ellie and Adam on the dancefloor include the likes of Angela Scanlon, Nigel Harman, and Zara McDermott.
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.35pm on BBC One.
