The Chase viewers in meltdown at line-up as they spot Prime Minister coincidence

The Chase fans went into meltdown on social media during Monday's episode as a player called Winston and a player named Churchill were sat next to one another.

It was even more hilarious due to the fact Winston was first in line, while Churchill was sat beside him, so their names on the desk in front of them read "Winston Churchill".

One said: "Seriously? Two contestants on #TheChase called Winston and Churchill and they have sat them together?"

While another wrote: "How is Brad not cracking up when he addresses Winston and then Churchill."

Another added: "Amazing! Winston Churchill on The Chase".

"Very clever how they've sat Winston next to Churchill", penned a third.

Viewers also pointed out that one player was called Teresa, and the lady next to her was called June.

They thought it was hilarious as it was one month away from being "Teresa May", although Teresa was spelt differently to former Prime Minister Theresa May.

One wrote: "I see what you did there The Chase. Winston, Churchill, Teresa. They couldn't find someone with the surname "May", nah, June will do."

Another remarked: "Production team on The Chase have had some fun today with Winston Churchill Teresa (not May but) June, fair play."

"Winston Churchill, Teresa June and the first question in the cash builder about Boris Johnson", commented another The Chase fan.

The team of four did extremely well on the ITV show, and three players made it through to the final round against chaser Jenny Ryan.

They managed to gain a 18 step lead against quizzing expert Jenny, and were hoping to win their £12,000 prize fund.
