The Mandalorian season two will be arriving on Disney Plus on October 30, and fans are looking forward to the weekly episodes airing. The second instalment comes almost a year after the release of the first season back in November 2019, and viewers praised the first live-action series within the Star Wars franchise. Fans are keen to know what time the season two episodes will arrive on Disney Plus, and Express.co.uk has investigated.

What time is The Mandalorian released?

The eight-episode debut season of The Mandalorian was released on Disney’s streaming platform on November 12, 2019 and the episodes aired weekly until December 27.

Fans were left in suspense as each episode left the story at a pivotal moment, with viewers rooting for The Child, otherwise known as Baby Yoda.

Like the first season, the episodes in season two will air weekly, with the first airing on October 30. The second season is made up of eight episodes, with the season finale airing on December 18.

The episodes will continue to air every Friday, but the titles of each episode are yet to be released. There is also no news yet on what time each episode will be released.

Fans in the US are likely to be able to watch the episodes after midnight, as was the case with the first season.

However Radio Times has suggested that the episodes will be airing at 7am GMT for fans in the UK, according to information leaked online.

Express.co.uk has contacted Disney Plus to find out exactly what time fans across the world will be able to watch each episode, and will update this story when an answer comes to light.

There is no clue on the Disney Plus website to suggest what time the episodes will be out – the site simply says: “New season streaming October 30. Catch up on season one now.”

Viewers will need to make sure they are up to date with their Disney Plus subscription, as the series is only available to watch on this streaming platform.

Fans in the UK can pay £5.99 per month, or £59.99 will cover a year’s subscription. In the US, a subscription costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 for a year.

The release of the season two episodes has deviated slightly from the usual schedule, as last year the first two episodes were dropped within the same week.

This year, the episodes will arrive every Friday, with the first episode said to be 52-minutes long. In the US, episodes should drop at midnight PT and 3am ET, while fans in Australia can watch the episodes from 6pm on Fridays.

The official trailer for season two is available to watch now and it shows The Mandalorian (played by Pedro Pascal) and Baby Yoda on a new adventure, as The Mandalorian was told to reunite The Child with its own kind.

This season is also expected to introduce Jedi, who are described in the trailer as being “enemy sorcerers”.
