This Morning viewers in tears as mother with three months to live wins £2k to throw a party before she dies
THIS Morning viewers were in floods of tears today when a viewer with just three months left to live won £2,000 to throw a party before she dies.
After surviving breast cancer, Heather was told she had a terminal brain tumour.
She entered the ITV show's Dosh On Your Doorstep competition in hopes of winning a cash prize to put towards her Wake Me Up Before You Go Go themed party.
This Morning viewers broke down in tears as brave Heather told her tragic story.
"I got diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019," Heather told presenter Alison Hammond.
"I had the all-clear just before my 40th birthday and thought things were getting back to normal.
"But then I got told I had brain mets, so now I'm getting myself organised because I've been told I have three months to live.
"I am going to have a Wake Me Up Before I Go Go party. It's a party before my passing. The money will go towards that."
Asked how she keeps positive despite her looming death, Heather insisted: "There's no point moping. It is what it is.
"If I am moping it's not going to help my husband or my children.
"I've gone into auto-mode at the moment."
The huge This Morning fan had proposed to her husband live on the show and a clip played out today.
Heather was then stunned as host Phillip Schofield doubled her money when she won £1,000.
He said: "We've got a treat for you, as a birthday present we'll add another £1,000 to your party.
"We've also got a message for you…"
Craig David superfan Heather was then played a personalised video message from the star who sang happy birthday to her.
The 7 Days singer said: "I just wanted to send you all my love and all my positive energy.
"I hear it's a very special day for you tomorrow."
Heather was overcome with emotion as she cried her eyes out about the heartfelt message.
Asked how she felt about winning the cash for the party, she added: "It's going to be amazing with tons of people having a real fun time."
One viewer said: "Crying my eyes out. What an incredible woman."
"Another added: In tears watching #thismorning dosh on the doorstep. What an incredible lady Heather is!"
Someone else said: "I'm in bits watching #ThisMorning Sending so much love to Heather."
