Tiger King was a massive hit for Netflix back at the start of 2020. So much so that it will be no surprise for fans that season two is just around the corner. Premiering on Wednesday, November 17, the second season will be picking up directly from where season one left off, with Exotic still trying to take Carol Baskin down. Joining them is a cast of familiar faces.

Who is in the cast of season two?

Joe Exotic

Of course, it wouldn’t be Tiger King without Joe Exotic, though this time he won’t be in charge of his infamous zoo.

Instead, he will contribute to the documentary from prison, where he ended up following season one and Baskin’s crackdown on his zoo.

Exotic will be pleading his innocence, though he will naturally take a backseat in season two.

Netflix released this statement on the second season: “With Joe Exotic behind bars and Carole Baskin closing in on ownership of his disreputable zoo, the Emmy-nominated saga continues its twisted course with Tiger King 2 as newfound revelations emerge on the motivations, backstories, and secrets of America’s most notorious big cat owners.”

Carol Baskin

Also returning is Baskin, now in charge of Exotic’s old zoo.

How Baskin will be involved in season two remains to be seen, as the star was critical of season one following its premiere last year.

In fact, Baskin has another series, Carol Baskin’s Cage Match, which is available to watch now on Discovery+.

This sees Baskin explore Exotic’s zoo and give her side of the story from season one.

In season two of Tiger King, she will likely be bringing the zoo back up to code as well.

Jeff Lowe

Jeff Lowe is back and looks to be taking a larger role in this season.

The tiger breeder proved controversial in season one, as he produced white tigers which do not naturally occur in the wild.

Lowe’s and Exotic’s ongoing dispute will continue, with Exotic calling it “very personal” in the sequel trailer.

Lowe is seen in the trailer doing target practice, only using an Exotic shaped board to aim at.

Tim Stark

Tim Stark will also return, the owner of the Wildlife in Need in Charlestown, Indiana, USA.

Stark owned a variety of exotic animals in the first season, which will clearly feature again in season two.

During the trailer, Stark can be heard saying: “Nobody’s going to take my animals. It’s that simple.”

Following season one, Stark has been battling lawsuits with regard to animal abuse and neglect.

Allen Glover

Another season one star that has since been incarcerated; Allen Glover returns for the second season.

Glover was Exotic’s handyman and part-time hitman, though he was ultimately arrested for driving under the influence.

How Glover will be involved in season two remains to be seen, though it will likely be as chaotic as season one.

Tiger King season two will be available to watch exclusively on Netflix from Wednesday, November 17.
