Tom Cruise screams at Mission: Impossible 7 crew as they break Covid rules
Tom Cruise was recorded yelling at Mission: Impossible 7 crew members in an expletive-filled rant after they broke Covid-19 social distancing rules.
The action movie star, who has gone to extreme lengths like hiring a boat to isolate the crew while filming in Norway and wearing two face masks to stay safe, flipped his lid when he spotted two crew members standing too close to each other.
In the middle of the set at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire, Cruise let rip in a sweary rant branding them ‘motherf**kers’ for breaking the strict rules he has in place and warned ‘if he sees it again, they’re f***ing gone.’
In an audio recording obtained by The Sun, Cruise said: ‘We are the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us, because they believe in us and what we’re doing.
‘I’m on the phone with every f**king studio at night, insurance companies, producers and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies.
‘We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf**kers. I don’t ever want to see it again. Ever!’
The star then continued to address the entire team and screamed that livelihoods were at stake if they failed to pay attention to his warnings, and refused their apologies.
‘You can tell it to the people who are losing their f**king homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education.
‘That’s what I sleep with every night – the future of this f**king industry!’
‘We are not shutting this f**king movie down! Is it understood?,’ he continued. ‘If I see it again, you’re f**king gone.’
Filming for the film has already been halted once due to coronavirus, with Cruise holding crisis talks after a dozen crew members contracting the virus while on set in Italy.
The Mission Impossible production returned to the UK two weeks ago.
Mission Impossible 7 is slated for release in November 2021.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Cruise’s reps for comment.
