A man has reportedly leaped to his death from a 16-story Manhattan rooftop bar.
The unidentified man from Cambridge, Massachusetts, was killed after jumping from the Roger Smith Hotel on Tuesday evening.
The 21-year-old had reportedly ordered a drink before he jumped from Henry’s Rooftop Bar at around 21.30pm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

‘He sat down at the bar, ordered a drink and then just jumped,’ an employee of the hotel told The Daily News.
‘He didn’t even touch his drink.’
The man was not a guest at the hotel, according to the employee.
Witness Talita, a 48-year-old woman who was on a date at the time, told The New York Post: ‘We were all sitting at the rooftop bar and he just ran and he jumped.’

‘I looked at the lady sitting at the first table I said: ‘he just jumped!’
47th street going west from 3rd Avenue was closed following the incident, as well as Lexington Avenue in both directions.
The man’s identity is yet to be released, following notification of the family.
