A 46-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with murder after a dad was reportedly stabbed to death outside a pub.
Dean Bennett, 31, was airlifted to hospital on Saturday night after he was attacked in Connah's Quay, North Wales.
Cops say the "big-hearted" dad-of-one suffered stab wounds.
Despite the efforts of medics, he died in Aintree Hospital, Liverpool after the attack in his hometown.
Three people – including a 16-year-old girl – were arrested on suspicion of killing Mr Bennett.
Police have now announced one person, Emma Berry of Connah's Quay, has been charged with murder.
She will appear in the dock today.
The teenage girl and a 35-year-old man have been released without charge and will face no further action.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Bell of North Wales Police said: “Our thoughts very much remain with Dean's family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
"I would like to thank local residents and all those who have assisted with this investigation so far.
"I would also like to make a further appeal to anybody who may have information and who are yet to come forward, to contact us immediately.”
Speaking after Mr Bennet's death, Det Ch Insp Sion Williams said: "Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Dean's family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
"We understand that a serious incident like this has caused a lot of concern in the local community and we'd like to reassure residents that we are doing all we can to establish what has happened.
"Officers are on patrol in the area."
In an online tribute, his friend Alleisha Carey said Mr Bennett "had one of the biggest hearts" in the town.

"I can't believe that this has actually happened to you.
